I’m Raahim Hashmi.

I help design things that make sense the first time you use them.

I'm Raahim Hashmi, a third-year UX Design student at Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating in 2028.

I'm a Canadian man with a Pakistani heart. My parents raised me on one idea above all others: if someone needs help and you can give it, you give it. That's not a design philosophy, it's just how I was brought up — but it's the thing underneath everything I make.

It's why I keep landing on the same question: who was this not built for? An alarm that assumes everyone can hear. A website that hides the food bank from the students who need it. A wellness service nobody can bring themselves to walk into. My work spans digital products, physical objects, and the services behind both, and it usually comes down to the same finding — the resource exists, but there's no clear path to it. I build the path.
